Poke & Show Rod Run

Unfortunately due to some expansion work going on at Rivershore Resort, we won't be able to put on 2026 Poke and Show Rod run this year.

The team at Rivershore have been trying to make magic happen but we'll have too much construction going on during this time in the area’s they so kindly let us use for the show every year.

The planned expansion has been in the works for some time but finally they're ready to start turning dirt with stage one being the new Glamping Tents along the Riverside.

This means great news for Poke and Show Rod Run with more accommodation options for the next event, so hold tight and get ready for August 2027.

I have some other plans for this August along the lines of a Poker Run - swag camp out, Bomb fire, beers and music if enough people are interested. I'll keep you in the loop as I work this out soon.

I'm sorry we couldn't get this year's event up and going but ultimately the people's safety is always number one, the wait will be well worth it, I promise you.

What a day! We will post photos and count money tomorrow and let you know how much we have raised - but for tonight - I wanted to say thankyou to each and every person that supported todays show. From entrants, patrons, volunteers and supporters - without you there is no show.

This year has been our best show yet, and I am stoked that we have been able to do this to be able to give back to HeartKids and I’m already looking forward to next year.

Today is the day! Our online registrations and payments have now closed - so please register and/or pay at the gate from 11am.

Our Poker Run starts at 8am meeting at Rivershore Resort - first cars/bikes depart from 8:30am.

We will have the morning Poker Run start and finish at Ingenia Holidays Rivershore Resort again with a roll through the Sunshine Coast's back roads via Rick's Garage Palmwoods. We will be returning between 11:00am and 12noon prior to the main show kicking off.
