Arockalypse Now Festival

Arockalypse Now Festival Arockalypse Now 2026 at the Westernport Hotel April 18th! Featuring headliners DRUNK MUMS! And many many more!

In 2023, Arockalypse Now is making a highly-anticipated comeback with an extraordinary lineup of bands set to perform on two impressive stages. This event promises to be an exhilarating experience for music enthusiasts. We’ve curated an incredible selection of artists that will leave the audience in awe. The return of Arockalypse Now is bound to create a buzz and offer an unforgettable musical exp

erience. Things will kick off with the electrifying performance of Jungle Jim Smith, delivering his unique blend of solo-styled punk blues. Reminiscent of artists like Bob Log III and Jon Spencer, Jungle Jim is sure to captivate the audience with his raw energy and powerful sound. Following closely is Rex Dante, a talented three-piece band hailing from Naarm/Melbourne. Fans of Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age are in for a treat as Rex Dante takes the stage. Their dynamic and hard-hitting performance promises to deliver a thrilling experience, showcasing their impressive musicianship and drawing in the crowd with their twisted, groovin’, infectious sound. As the night progresses, get ready for the exhilarating performance of Speed Mullet in the band room. This electrifying band will unleash their manic electro punk styles, creating a sonic fusion reminiscent of Amyl and the Sniffers colliding with Su***de. Their energetic sound is a unique blend that defies categorization, combining elements of punk, electronic music, and raw attitude. When Speed Mullet takes the stage, be prepared for a wild ride. Their live sets are known for their high-energy presence and infectious beats that will make you want to move. Prepare to be transported to a soul-drenched psychedelic realm as Nick Carver and the Mean St Butchers grace the front bar of Arockalypse Now. This talented band is known for their captivating blend of rock music infused with elements of soul and psychedelia. Their previous notable support of The Tea Party at The Westernport, demonstrates their ability to captivate audiences and share the stage with renowned acts. The bar will become a haven for those seeking an immersive and mind-altering musical journey, as this talented band enchants the crowd with their soul-infused psychedelic rock. Prepare to be mesmerized by their performance and let the music carry you away into a realm of sonic exploration. As Sandy Dish takes the stage, be prepared for an electrifying experience that combines punk rock sensibilities with a strong feminist perspective. Their infectious energy and compelling stage presence will leave the audience exhilarated and craving more. Arockalypse Now continues to deliver a diverse range of musical talents, and Sandy Dish's explosive Fem Punk performance promises to be a standout moment that resonates with the audience long after the festival concludes. Get ready to immerse yourself in their fierce and empowering sonic journey, where raw punk attitude meets unapologetic femininity. Get ready to be swept away by the disheveled coastal rock sounds of The Sand Brothers, a local band making waves at Arockalypse Now. Having recently released their debut album this year, The Sand Brothers are quickly gaining recognition for their unique blend of musical styles. Formed in 2020, The Sand Brothers can be considered a supergroup of sorts, featuring the talents of Greg Walker from Machine Translations and Rick Sands from The Night Party. Their disheveled coastal rock sound is sure to transport you to sandy beaches and sun-kissed shores. We’re then very excited to welcome the amazing Queenie to the main stage. Queenie; the trash queen alter-ego of Melbourne musician Eloise Thetford (ex Héloise, Bone Shack and Badgers), is a fearless performer who wears her heart on her sleeve. Her live shows shake, shudder and smoulder with fiery charisma and freewheeling stagecraft when she’s performing with her band; a Rogues’ gallery of Melbourne’s finest musicians. Beneath all the sizzle, though, is a unique and powerful voice: tender one moment and visceral the next, Queenie can soar from Emmy-Lou Harris to Mariah Carey at the drop of a hat, launching her deeply emotive songwriting into the stratosphere like a rocket strapped to a Cadillac.
