Looks like the weather has scored the first try.

We’re disappointed to advise that Groovin’ in the Green Rocks the State of Origin has been cancelled due to forecast wet weather and storm activity.

The safety of our community, suppliers and event team is our priority, and unfortunately the conditions mean the event can’t go ahead.

But don’t hang up your maroon just yet - we look forward to welcoming the Moreton Bay community back for Game Three at Groovin’ in the Green Rocks the State of Origin - Wamuran.

The setup. The soundcheck. Then the beautiful chaos of a community coming together to celebrate some of the most important people in their lives.

To every mum, nana, and mother figure who spent part of their day with us - thank you. Watching you laugh, relax, and just be celebrated exactly as you deserve was the greatest reminder of why community events like this matter.

What a day. What a privilege. 💛

Groovin' in the Green Rocks State of Origin has the kids covered with free face painting and roving LED entertainment from 6:30pm — so the grown-ups can enjoy the DJ set and settle in for Game One at 8pm.
