Well well well....John Stuart's Lonesome Orchestra was one of those mighty light-bulb moments when you realise you are in the presence of so much musical talent, there's nothing but joy in the room. That's how good it was.
For a total of 16 tickets sold...
Now, lucky for The Hawkesbury we here at The Gin Joint are undeterred and lucky for us neither was the band but we will say this:
If you don't want to have to schlep your dollars into tolls, petrol, parking and overpriced city tickets and you DO want to support your community, and your local artists, STEP UP.
To have a dedicated jazz/blues/cabaret and sometimes bananas twisted western swing band at your fingertips, in your backyard and only 16 people interested?
Hmmmm. Thats hard yakka, folks BUT we accept the challenge ad will keep going with our monthly pop-up exposure of wonderful, extraordinary artists and tickets happen to be running out the door for next month and the delightfully-deranged ABBA Gin&Tonic. Get into it while we can still provide it!
