COMMUNITY MEETING ON 3 JUNE 2026 RE: PLANNING APPLICATIONS IN RIVERSIDE AND DOONSIDE PRECINCTS
The following Planning Applications have recently been submitted to the Minister for Planning via the Development Facilitation Program (DFP) pathway:
• PA2604312: 43-67 River Street, Richmond (NHP Electrical site)
• PA2604321: 26-34 Doonside Street & 81-95 Burnley Street,
Richmond (Harry the Hirer site)

I am holding a community meeting at 6.00pm on Wednesday 3 June 2026 at Richmond Town Hall. I will be joined by a representative of Council’s Planning Department to update residents about these Planning Applications, including:
• How these Planning Applications will be determined;
• Council’s role as a Referral Authority for Development Facilitation Program Planning Applications; and
• How residents can provide feedback on these Planning Applications.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for residents to discuss broader developments in the Doonside, Victoria Gardens and Riverside Precincts where significant development is currently underway and planned in the near future.
