Testify events include performances from local artists, showcases from local music schools, and also offer avenues of mental health support for local youth.

I worked with young people in education for over 20 years. The increasing youth mental health crisis remains one of my deepest concerns. As a musician, I believe in the power of music-making to bring healing to the soul. For this reason, I appreciated the opportunity to write about Testify, a local church initiative that gives young performers a platform and young people space to share about their mental wellbeing. Plus jazz funk is cool.
