The Big Bite is broken into two chunks. First is the amateur fishing tournament run over seven days, where participants can bag major cash and other prizes for catching the biggest fish of the day. Think you’ve got what it takes? This is a 'catch and click' event so all you need to enter the tournament is your favourite fishing rod and a smartphone. Fish from a boat, a jetty or even the shore - where ever you think you’re going to catch more (just as long as you’re safe and in a great spot while you wait for The Big Bite!). Second is a festival about all things fishing. Multiple industry influences will be showcased on stage, teaching you how to improve your fishing with the latest and greatest in fishing technology, water safety, conservation and sustainability.
