ONLY 3 MORE SLEEPS UNTIL WE HIT THE COURTS!
Please take the time to read through the important information below so we can ensure everything runs smoothly over the weekend.
📍 Location: Fremantle Netball Association
📅 Dates: Saturday 31st October & Sunday 1st November 2026
⏰ ARRIVAL TIME – 6:15 AM SHARP (Sat only)
We ask that all players and families arrive by 6:15 AM so we can get everyone organised and ready for the Opening Ceremony.
🏕️ OUR ALLOCATED AREA – NUMBER 1
We will have 2 gazebos set up for our players and families to gather throughout the weekend.
🙌 HELP WITH SETTING UP
If anyone is available to come down a little earlier and lend a hand with setting up the gazebos and getting our area organised, it would be greatly appreciated!
With so many teams, any extra hands will make things much easier. Please message me if you're able to help.
🎶 OPENING CEREMONY & ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO COUNTRY
All nations are required to be at Courts 1 & 2 by 6:50 AM on Saturday 31st October.
Acknowledgment to Country will commence at 7:25 AM.
IMPORTANT: Anyone who is participating in the dancing must be organised and ready beforehand. Please make sure you are prepared so everything can run smoothly.
👕 WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
We encourage everyone to wear your Indigenous shirts and bring along your Aboriginal and Torres Strait flags! 🖤💛❤️💚💙🤍
Let's fill the courts with our colours, culture and pride!
If you have purchased a shirt, you are welcome to wear that, or your playing dress or singlet.
🍎💧 FOOD, SNACKS & WATER
We will have some snacks and water available throughout the weekend for our players.
We also encourage families to bring along something to share with everyone.
With so many players and families attending, it would be great if we could all contribute a little something.
We have organised a food and snack list for each age group so everyone knows what to bring and we don't end up with too much of the same thing.
Whether it's fruit, snacks, sandwiches or something simple, every little bit helps!
Please also ensure players bring their own water bottles, as it's going to be a big weekend of netball! 🏐
📣 FINAL REMINDERS
With so many teams representing our Indigenous community this year, we ask everyone to be on TIME, RESPECTFUL and SUPPORTIVE of one another.
We want all our players, families and supporters to enjoy the weekend, represent our community proudly and show good sportsmanship both on and off the courts.
Let's stand tall, wave our flags proudly and show everyone the strength, unity and pride of our Indigenous community.
