Next FEIT FILM FESTIVAL event this Wednesday!
Join us for a special screening of the award-winning documentary Solar Mamas (2012).

Solar Mamas follows Rafea, a woman from Jordan who travels to India’s renowned Barefoot College to train as a solar engineer. Wanting to bring clean energy to her village, she has to fight gender barriers and social expectations. The film emphasizes that women are important agents of change and leadership in their communities. It demonstrates that decentralising knowledge and enabling community-led solutions are vital to a just energy transition.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A and discussion featuring Prof. Katja Hölttä-Otto and Dr. Madhurima Das.

Note: The event will also feature the short sci-fi film For All Humankind (2025).
