That’s a wrap on Passion of the Pilbara for 2026! 🤩

Thank you to everyone who came down and supported two days of workshops, activations, cooking demonstrations, games rides and more!

The passport challenge was a huge success and congratulations to our winner who took home an epic prize.

IT'S MAIN FESTIVAL TIME! 🥳

Head down to Thalanyji Oval from 12pm for an afternoon of rides, games, youth zone, live music and of course the 2026 Passport Challenge! PLUS, at 8:30pm headline act Michael Paynter takes the stage to close out the day – this is a performance you don't want to miss!

Pick up your POP Passport from the Local History Tent when you arrive at the festival then follow these simple steps to go in the draw to win $1,000:
✅ Visit the challenge locations listed in your passport and complete an activity where required.
✅ Collect your stamps as you go. A minimum of six stamps must be collected to enter the draw.
✅ Drop off your completed passport at the Fight the Bite tent by 5:00pm.
✅ Be at the main stage at 6:00pm for the prize draw. If you aren't present when your name is called, the prize will be redrawn.

Join Celebrity Chef Sean Loke at the Community Garden at 10am! 👨‍🍳

Chef Sean Loke is enthusiastic in fusion Japanese cuisine. He moved to Perth in 2006 where he started his culinary journey by studying commercial cookery and training in Perth's local Japanese restaurants like Nobu. With his Asian Culture the understanding of Japanese flavours came naturally, and this encouraged him to develop his skills in modern Japanese fusion. Sean's goal is to serve Perth speciality modern Japanese cuisines in his own personal style.

Sean will take to the kitchen highlighting local Onslow produce, so head on down to this FREE event from 10am!

Before a full day of workshops, games, dancing and entertainment, join us for a free guided yoga session overlooking the ocean.

Starting at 7am, spend an hour taking in the fresh sea breeze, stretch out and reset for the day ahead in one of Onslow's most scenic locations.
