Unfortunately we’ve had to make the tough decision to cancel this year’s Thumbpump Desert Race.

Due to the current situation with fuel prices and a number of other factors affecting the event, it’s not something we can deliver the way we would like this year.

We have spoken with a number of riders who reached out to us directly, particularly interstate competitors who have said the travel costs simply aren’t feasible at the moment

in a positive note, focus now shifts to delivering the remainder of our events this year to the best standard possible and plans to make racing as affordable as possibe. We’re already proactively working with our members down in Tasmania for the Bakers Beach Enduro, with accommodation and logistics options being locked in to help make the event as affordable and enjoyable as possible.

THUMBPUMP 2026 UPDATE

Entries: entries will be opening as soon as possible, we’re have been working with MSA ironing out a few details for the the 2026 event, as soon as we’re able to open the entries on Ridernet we will be sure to update the social media channels with a link

Track conditions: major sections of the track including the straights have been groomed, the track recently received an inch of rain that will settle the track grooming nicely

We look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks time!
