Congratulations to our Mackay Junior Golfers 🏌️‍♂️ who headed to Mystic Sands over the weekend for the NQ Junior Open.
Big congratulations to Darius Perrin who took out the 6 Holes boys overall for the 2 days with a 30 then 36 to take the win 🏆 claiming best gross each day, with 2 nearest the pins to add to the collection.
And
Sonny Hutchison who won the 9 Hole Boys overall Division 1 🏆Gross 51-51

Sonny had to battle it out in the 9-hole Division 1. He started Day 2 one shot behind. After the first hole he was two behind, then fought back to be level after hole 3 and one in front after hole 4.

A tough 5th hole put him two behind again, but he clawed one back on hole 6 and was still one behind after hole 7.

Hole 8 was the big turning point, where Sonny gained two shots to go one in front. He then finished strong on the last, gaining another two shots to win by three overall.

Great effort from both boys 🏆🏆
