Recent trials of tunnel nets in qld represent a direct threat to the inshore coastal flats we all love, and we should all be concerned.

If they go ahead it will devastate our hinchinbrook flats, as well as many other areas in the great barrier marine park zone. Events like the AFO Hinchinbrook Challenge will be directly impacted , local operators and businesses will suffer . The long term impacts will be far reaching.

The recently released petition from the inshore flats project gives YOU as a fly fisherman and someone who cares about these flats a chance to make a difference.

As followers of this page and the challenge , we are asking your help in putting your name to this cause. We also ask you please encourage all your fishing mates, family, work colleagues to all take the few minutes to do the same.

It gives the movement a voice when there is a healthy number of signatories on a petition.
