📅 BATTLEGROUNDS 2027 — DATE CHANGE

We’ve made the call to move Battlegrounds 2027 from the July weekend to:
21st MAY – 23rd MAY 2027

We know plenty of people may have already made plans around the July dates, and we’re sorry for the change.

ENTRIES OPEN THIS FRIDAY 🚙🛻💨💨💨

The Lowmead 2 Car Throwdown is coming this November, and racer entries officially open this Friday.

This one’s all about two-car teams, teamwork and proper winch challenge racing across the whole weekend.

🏁 Event Details

📍2 car teams
📍$800 per team
📍9–11 stages
📍Racing Friday night
📍Racing Saturday day + Saturday night
📍Racing Sunday
📍Team-orientated stages designed to make both cars work together

🏕️ Weekend Camping
Camping all weekend, with toilets, showers and food vendors

We’re putting together a mix of creek sections, speed, technical winching and team-based racing!

Of course plenty of action for spectators 👀👀

The Stage ideas are flowing endlessly through the brain to make the Lowmead 2 Car Throwdown all it can be!

However, lets see what your thoughts are on a cool 2 car stage is

Lets open the discussion and when you read through these you can say that sounds awesome or that sounds wackkkk. Some of our ideas are wack too don't worry, then we realise that is the case.

🚨🚨🚨 Announcement!!!! 🚨🚨🚨

Little bit of a change coming tomorrow

The Battlegrounds page is going to be changing over to **I Off-Road Events**.

Battlegrounds isn’t going anywhere at all, Best believe that! We locked for 2027 folks.

It just makes sense to have one page for everything going forward, and gives us a bit more room to grow what we’re doing.

So for now, nothing really changes apart from the name.

**Tomorrow, Battlegrounds becomes I Offroad Events.**
