Celebrate the beauty and diversity of daffodils with local specialist and judge John Dettmann.

John brings a wealth of experience and a deeply rooted connection to daffodil cultivation. He is related to the late Hugh Dettmann, a renowned breeder who developed his own daffodil lines, and who played a key role in guiding Eve Murray of Langley in growing daffodils from seed.

This talk will explore the art and science behind breeding, growing, and judging daffodils, with insights that will appeal to both enthusiasts and curious gardeners alike.

Presented in association with the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival, this is a perfect way to immerse yourself in the season.

🌼 ONE SLEEP TO GO! 🌼

Tomorrow, Kyneton pulls out all the stops. The Grand Parade rolls down Mollison Street, bringing ten days of daffodils, art and community spirit to an absolute cracker of a finish. Floats, music, colour, the whole town out in force.

Then it's straight into the Fair at the Old Kyneton Primary School, with food, stalls and family fun to round out the festival in style.

Get your spot on Mollison Street early, bring the whole crew, and let's send this festival off the way it deserves.

🌼 This is it, Kyneton. The grand finale weekend is here. 🌼

Ten days of daffodils, art and community spirit all build to this. Markets fill the streets on Saturday, exhibitions are open for your last chance to wander through, and Sunday brings the Grand Parade down Mollison Street before the Fair takes over at the Old Kyneton Primary School.

It's the best way to send off the festival, so make sure you're in town for it.
