Whatever the future holds for the school site, we hope it remains accessible to community events such as the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival and continues to be enjoyed as a shared community space. Access to the grounds would not only provide a valuable asset for locals but would also reduce the significant costs associated with road closures and help create a safer, more enjoyable experience for festival attendees and the wider community.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to Kyneton Rotary. It is the end of an era. Kyneton Rotary have helped with our flags for many many years !!

These colourful flags are one of the first signs that festival season has arrived, and they don’t appear by magic. Behind them are dedicated community members who generously give their time, skills and energy to help bring our town to life.

Volunteer organisations like Rotary are the backbone of small regional communities. They quietly support countless events, projects and initiatives that make places like Kyneton vibrant, connected and welcoming.

From community festivals and sporting clubs to emergency services and local fundraising efforts, volunteers are often the people who keep things running behind the scenes.

As communities change, many volunteer organisations are finding it harder to attract new members. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is a wonderful time. Even a few hours here and there can make a real difference and help ensure these important community groups continue to thrive for future generations.

To the Rotary volunteers who have helped our festival year after year — thank you. Your contribution helps make the Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival possible, and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing support.
