Festival Director, Tom, recently took up an invitation to meet (and eat) with the Little India Harris Park Business Association to promote the festival in the heartland of Sydneys Indian Community. Wigram Street, Harris Park

By day Wigram Street is a bustling shopping precinct full of independent stores and restaurants and by night it turns into a vibrant, glowing, dynamic dining strip full of energy and community spirit.

Kiamasala aims to strengthen ties between our region and Sydney communities such as Harris Park to encourage mutual visitation and understanding.

Be sure to come and say hello to Sanjay the team from the.Business Association. They will have a stall at the festival.

Did you know Kiamasala Festival Falls within National Harmony week?

Harmony Week is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community. Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it. The message of Harmony Week is everyone belongs.
It is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic
background, united by a set of core Australian values.
