On behalf of adidas | Combat League Australia, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the positive feedback coming in from club coaches that supported the adidas | Combat League Australia NSW Championship 2026 Round 1 last weekend which was held all in the spirit of grassroots development, participation and confidence building.

The adidas | Combat League Australia Taekwondo Championship was conceived not only for athletes and competitors in Poomsae and Kyorugi to gain an introduction to competition sport Taekwondo but also to provide and aid in the further development of up and coming coaches and referees seeking live mat time to ultimately skill up and meet national body accreditation standards to further ensure safe, fair and positive events for newcomers to tournaments.

We would also like to take this opportunity to give recognition and thanks to our dear friends Mr Paul Jolley and Mrs Niki Jolley for working closely with us on developing the adidas | Combat League Australia concept and entrusting us with the iconic adidas brand for the purposes of creating more opportunities for newcomers and novices considering competition Taekwondo.

With good intentions at the core of the adidas | Combat League Australia events and a solid foundation from the inception of the league we are excited to take the Taekwondo community on an exciting journey together working in unison to produce the champions of tomorrow.

See you all at Round 2!
