THAT’S A WRAP ✌🏻
And just like that, this year’s Harrigans Rod and Custom Show has come to an end and wow, what a year! Each year we take on your feedback and try our best to improve where we can to ensure you all have a great day. We've taken a few days to recover and would just like to recap and say a few thank you’s to those that made the day what it was.
- A huge thank you firstly to our sponsors who jumped on board this year. Without you guys, this show wouldn't have been what it was. Your support has meant the world to us and we are forever grateful. A special shoutout to our major sponsor for this year, OzTrade Supplies Nerang who joined us from the start and have been a massive support for this years event.
- The show wouldn't have run as smooth as it did without the help from our volunteers, friends and family. These guys gave up their Sunday to help us achieve our goals in making this a fun day out for everyone, with some turning up at the crack of dawn and staying until the sun went down. We are so appreciative and so grateful to have your help and support.
- The hardest job for the day by far is the judging. These guys judged hundreds of entrants and you guys certainly didn't make it an easy job for them. The calibre of cars and bikes that came through is the best they've seen so they definitely had their work cut out for them.
- We had 48 trade stands on display this year and what a variety there was! We brought in a wide array of automotive, fashion and memorabilia stands as well as food trucks which we hope helped improve the issues faced last year.
- We would like to thank the 600+ entrants and thousands of spectators that came along to support the show this year. There obviously wouldn't be a show without the cars and people, so we are very grateful to have had each and every one of you there this year. We are still working on exact figures from the day so stay tuned for the statistics!
- We hired additional traffic controllers compared to last year, however there is only so much traffic that road can handle and we did the best we could do with what we had. We'd like to apologise and thank you for your patience and understanding as we are aware some of you still sat in a bit of traffic.
Besides the heat, wind and the midges, we hope you all had a great day. We will be announcing the trophy winners soon so keep an eye out for that!
Thank you again, Joel and Dani 🤘
