The 2026 HWC Old Dogs Calcutta has come to an end with the ever consistent Stacey Vine defeating a gallant Paull Clack in a great final.

Stacey had to do it the hard way, having to beat Paull twice, as he was coming into the final from the losers side. He won the first final 8-5 & the repercharge 5-1. Great effort from Stacey & his 3rd Old Dogs title.

Thanks to all the players that travel to Tassie to play in this event, coming from all around the country & to the local Tassie players that support the event, without you this event would not happen.

Special thanks to all the staff of the HWC your efforts were amazing, Andrew Heaton on his work keeping the tables in great condition for the whole weekend, & Andrew "Salty" Saltmarsh for streaming the event through Cue Sports Tas.

Finally to our major sponsor - Mick Grubb from Opposite Lock & Specialist Auto Group, your support is amazing.
Greg Johncock from Poolstat, for the scoring app.
Jeremy & Belinda McGuire from Sorell Locksmiths for our trophies.

It is getting very close now, can those that have not paid their entry fee please do so no later than Tuesday March 31st.

We have a bumper field this year, if entered & your name is not on the list please contact Sam or myself, & we will add it, I had computer issues but i hope no one has been left off.
If you wish to enter please contact us ASAP.

All the crew at the Hobart Workers are looking forward to catching up with everyone in a few weeks.

Well that is the 2025 Old Dogs Calcutta done & dusted for this year. Congratulations to Steve Jamieson on taking out the event from a gallant Colin Laoutaris 8-6 & picking up the $6000.00 first prize.

A huge thanks to the Staff & Members of the Hobart Workers Club, our major sponsor Opposite Lock Cambridge & to the rest of our sponsors that help make this event a huge success and to Salty for streaming the event through Cue SportsTas. To all of our interstate visitors we hope you have enjoyed your stay & safe travels home.

We will be back in April 2026 & we hope to see you all then.

Hi All - The auction will start tonight at 5.00pm with the first games starting at 7.30pm. Can you please bring cash as we have a $200.00 maximum cash out policy at the club. Bank Transfers can be arranged.

Dress Code is Neat Casual.
Play will start at 9.00am on both Saturday & Sunday.

Live streaming will be on Cue Sports Tas from Saturday morning.
There will be the normal "Blonks" Calcutta on the Sunday starting at 11.00am
