๐๐ฏ Eco Dart Challenge Recap: Empowering the Next Generation of Eco-Warriors! ๐ฏ๐
A few weeks ago, we had an amazing time at Nazareth Primary School with 100 young changemakers participating in the Eco Dart Challenge! ๐
Together, we combined fun and education to inspire sustainable habits. Hereโs what we achieved:
๐ The Stats That Matter:
โ
85% of students correctly identified all council bin colours, boosting their knowledge of waste sorting.
โ
78% could name at least 3 recyclable items for the yellow bin, like plastic bottles, cardboard, and aluminium cans.
โ
65% successfully identified 3 renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower.
โ
92% recognized the universal recycling symbol, showing their awareness of sustainability.
๐ก Impact Highlights:
๐ฑ 87% of students said they learned something new about protecting the planet.
๐ 70% pledged to encourage their families to recycle more at home.
๐ฌ 93% rated the Eco Dart Challenge as โFunโ or โVery Fun.โ
๐ Why This Matters:
By empowering young minds, weโre fostering a culture of responsibility and action toward a sustainable future. These students are now equipped with the knowledge to make a real difference in their homes and communities.
