Unearthed Youth Arts Program in action on Tuesday afternoon down at Aquatic Reserve. A wonderful experimental time was had at ‘The Log’ . . . a favourite place!

We all listened to Aunty Hyllus Maris’ beautiful poem ‘Spiritual Song of the Aborigine’ in Yorta Yorta Language and English while we worked to capture remnants of this remarkable River Red Gum. You can listen to this poem on a Self-guided walk around Echuca.

Then we visited dreamy exhibition at The Foundry Arts Space and shared stories of symbols that arise in our sleep time, some scary . . some hilarious! 😆

Unearthed are looking forward to sharing their collaborative artwork with the community from 18 September - 25 October at the watch this space! 🤎
