Upcoming event! This Friday OCT 3rd. Join Quandamooka artist Mahala Burns to learn about textile block printing. In this hands-on workshop you'll learn how to design, carve, and / or print bold, beautiful patterns onto fabric.

When: 11am - 2pm

Where: QUAMPI Arts & Culture Centre, 14-16 ballow Rd, Dunwich

Bring: your own cotton fabrics (shirts, bags, sarongs, etc), or a limited number of tote bags will be available also.

Ages: Suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

FREE to join, may be additional costs for those needing extra materials.

Thank you to everyone who came to support our event this year and our outstanding artists that performed for us , the record attendance of 4000 people 🥳 the last dance was another record amount! The amount of people learning the dance and joining in was something really special! Thanks to our food vendors stall holders and volunteers, staff ❤️ feel free to send your photos through. we would love to add them to our collection of 2025 Quandamooka Festival memories.

That’s a wrap for Quandamooka festival 2025 including an unforgettable closing ceremony. Plenty of amazing artists on stage today and more pictures to come over the next few weeks.

Sunday lineup: Nunukal Yuggera Dancers, Wagga Torres Strait Islander Dancers, Gubbi Gubbi Dancers, Goodjingburra Dancers, Fred Leone with special guests including Roger Knox; Georgia Corowa; Birren; Joe Geia Band; MCs Sean Choolburra, Cameron Costello, Nix Gross.
