’Twas the Night Before Halloween on Renwick Street

’Twas the night before Halloween, on bright Renwick Street,
The pumpkins were glowing, the mood was complete.
The bunting was fluttering, the fences were dressed,
The neighbours all ready — Drummoyne at its best.

Rotary’s BBQ sizzled and smoked,
The Scouts poured their drinks while the snow cones soaked.
Touched by Olivia’s cause filled the air,
A night full of kindness, of joy, and of care.

Then down came the crowds with a magical beat,
Fairies and monsters filled up the street.
Laughter and music from Today FM 104,
Jimmy, Nath and Emma — the crowd wanted more!

Trick-or-treat bags swung side to side,
As families and friends took Halloween in stride.
Local shops smiling with sweets by the pile,
Every child’s costume a reason to smile.

The Rotary crew cheered, the Scouts kept it neat,
The scent of the sausages drifted down street.
And under the moon, with hearts full and bright,
We all called together — “What a Renwick night!”

Join us for Drummoyne’s spookiest street party on Friday 31 October, 4–8pm, where our amazing Renwick Street residents and local business community come together to raise funds for Touched by Olivia’s: The Living Room Project. 💜

Dress up, bring your buckets, and trick-or-treat your way through the neighbourhood! Our Halloween DJ will be spinning spooky tunes on Edwin Street — grab a sausage or snow cone, get your face painted, bounce on the jumping castle, and then head to Renwick Street to fill up those buckets! 🍬🎶🎨
