Sunspace is OPEN this week. 🌻🌻

Open as usual tomorrow 9:00-11:00 & 3:00-4:00.

This Friday, on the last day of school, we will be OPEN 9:00-3:00, serving organic sourdough pizzas, Sunspace Dahl and Blue Plum karaage chicken. Miho and Wakako will also roll some avocado sushi. 😊🍕☕️

Hello Pengari and Banksia communities,

It has come time for Sunspace to say goodbye.

Over these 5 years, we have tried to hold a space for the community to meet, support, enjoy, get to know one another, and provide a place for new parents and little ones to meet and play. Our collective intention was not to develop a community centre per se, but to develop a community hub which honours / reflects everyone's decision to bring their families to a Steiner School. We hope we have supported this.

Thank you for having us! We have been fortunate to get to know many of you through this project, and to watch the children grow over the years. 🙂

We would like to thank Francis for establishing Banksia Place and balancing many aspects to keep it going. We also thank Banksia Therapies, Eve from craft, and the biodynamic gardening group, and of course, the Sunspace community 🙂

We wish the board and subcommittee well and hope Banksia can continue to nurture the original seeds which have been planted. 🌱

🌻Sunspace Update🌻
Due to personal circumstances, Sunspace will be open on Thursdays and Fridays as always, but will be closed on Wednesdays during T4. We're sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. 🙏 For gatherings that are scheduled on Wednesdays, the community room will be open for the restroom and a kettle.

P.S. Thank you, Dee, for beautifying the Banksia chalk board! It looks wonderful. 🧡😊
