The Deniliquin Matchmakers Festival will be held for the second time in Deniliquin from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th March 2012 and is based on the annual Lisdoonvarna Matchmakers Festival in Ireland, which is 150 years old. An exciting fun-filled program of events is currently being put together, and includes the Welcome Party with matchmaking games, Deni's Longest Lunch, evening events around town venues, Saturday activities including river cruises, golf, lawn bowls, speed dating, wine tasting and jazz, local bands, a black tie ball and a leisurely Sunday brunch in the park with new friends or your new love. The Festival is for all ages from 25 to over 55, from regional NSW, regional Victoria and Melbourne metropolitan, but is open to anyone from across Australia who wants to grab their single friends and hit the road to Deni!
