The Harmony Day Family Festival celebrates diversity in the Top End. This is our third year of bringing different community groups together to promote cultural understanding and harmony,

Four football matches will be played on the day with many community groups displaying culture through performance, stalls and activities. The Harmony Day Football Festival is a family friendly event with Jumping

Castles, soccer skills, fantastic food and plenty of activities to keep the young ones entertained for the whole afternoon.

EVENT CANCELLED

Due to the impact on Gray Football Oval caused by Tropical Cyclone Marcus, unfortunately Palmerston’s Harmony Day Family Festival (planned for this Saturday 24 March) has been cancelled.

Thank you for your enthusiasm for this event, and we look forward to bringing this celebration back to Palmerston next year.

Today is National Harmony Day – we wish everyone across Palmerston a happy and united day, and thank you for working together to support each other during these changeable times.

Today is the day!

The Harmony Day Family Festival kicks off at 3pm with water slides, jumping castles, soccer clinics, fantastic food, face painting and Hyper the Clown.

4 tight contests will be playing out on the football pitch:
Football Without Borders vs Palmerston FC
Darwin Hearts FC vs Congolese Community
Casuarina FC vs Hellenic Athletic Club
Darwin Rovers FC vs African All-Stars

Some fantastic performances will also be in display including Latin Jazmine, Iones Greek Dancers, African Drummers, Korean dancers and many more!

The Harmony Day Family Festival is very soon!

Come and celebrate cultural diversity with us this Saturday, the 1st of April at Gray Oval.

One of the stars of the show will be Latin Jazmine, a multicultural group from Mexico, Australia, Peru, Ireland and India, collaborating to form a local Latin sound.

Check Jazmine Productions out in the grandstand at 5:30pm!
