We're excited to welcome back Harry Walker as our Accessibility Ambassador for 2026 🙌We recently caught up with Harry to chat all things Darwin Supercars, from his favourite memories in 2025 to what he's looking forward to most in 2026!
🎙️What was your highlight from the 2025 event?
"My favourite moment from 2025 was watching the Porsche Carrera Cup, a fantastic support category for the Darwin Supercars. And I also got a real buzz being interviewed by Amy Hetherington which was on the big screens."
🎙️What are you most excited to see this year?
"Apart from the main draw of the Supercars (and my hero Broc Feeney) I'm pretty excited to see the Monster Trucks for the first time ever at the event along with the FMX Freestyle Moto X."
🎙️Why are accessibility initiatives so important at major events like Darwin Supercars? And what accessibility improvements have stood out to you?
"Having accessibility initiatives in place means that everybody in our community can attend and enjoy Supercars. With or without a disability, it's about fairness and equity and giving everyone the same opportunity to experience the event and have a great day out.
There have been many accessibility initiatives introduced but I think one of the key ones, after accessibility platforms for wheelchairs, is having accessible changerooms to support a person with disability and their carer."
If you see Harry around the venue, feel free to say hey! He'll be happy to chat about all things Accessibility and motorsports!
