JAMBA NYINAYI 2025 💛🖤❤️
From camping on country, cultural workshops and SHANE HOWARD - GOANNA's unforgettable performance of Solid Rock Sacred Ground in the Shearing Shed, every part of JNF reflected the strength and spirit of Baiyungu culture. Thank you to everyone who came, the artists, volunteers, and especially to Hazel Cooyou Walgar and the Baiyungu community for continuing to guide and shape this special gathering place. We look forward to seeing you next year as Jamba Nyinayi continues to grow and celebrate Baiyungu culture, food, and music.

Jamba Nyinayi Festival 2025 is drawing to an end, we want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who gathered with us on Baiyungu Country to celebrate culture, connection, and community. This year’s theme of Connection honoured the ancient practice of gathering on Country, a tradition rooted in a relationship with the land that spans thousands of years.

🚌 JNF SHUTTLE BUS INFO! 🚌

The JNF Shuttle Bus will be running from 8:00AM until after the programming has ended on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April.

The Shuttle Bus will be leaving every 30 MINUTES from outside of G-BLOCK and dropping off/picking up from the CAR PARK behind Bills Bar in Coral Bay.

Maatakitj at Jamba Nyinayi Festival!

Maatakitj is Noongar singer and guitarist Clint Bracknell from the south coast of Western Australia. Maatakitj, Clint’s nickname, means ‘legs like spears’.

He sings in Noongar, the Indigenous language of Western Australia’s southwest, and is dedicated to creating new songs in one of the world’s longest continuing music traditions.

Don't miss an incredible live performance from this music legend on Sat 19 April!

He’s played for Prime Ministers, Aboriginal Elders and Environmental campaigners, from concert halls to protest sites and remote campfires. He’s been a guest artist for Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, James Taylor and Carole King among others.

His iconic song, ‘Solid Rock, Sacred Ground’, lit a fire for the rights of Aboriginal people in Australia nearly 40 years ago that hasn’t gone out. It’s been recorded and performed, many times in the ensuing years and translated into several Aboriginal Languages.

His performance at JNF will not disappoint.
