Fueled by a passion for storytelling, Lex aims to celebrate the incredible diversity and individuality of each person she captures. Particularly fellow q***r folks in the LGBTQIA+ and performance community. Inspired by a deep love of dance and music from an early age, Lex loves to explore themes of gender and identity, relationships to the body through visual concepts, sensuality, sexuality, and raw movement. At the core of her work is a desire to celebrate self-expression, be it through costume, colour, texture, or making shapes on camera!

When she’s not behind the camera, she works as a creative studio manager for and image curator for . She loves to spend time in nature, bring awareness about to folks in her industry, and spoon her growing family of adopted cats.

We love seeing the magnificent and powerful photos that come from Alexis’ creative photography studio located here at Bighouse ❤️
