NATIONAL FINALS UPDATE.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Board of Directors have decided that due to difficulties faced by members caused by the COVID 19 pandemic during the 2020/21 season, that led to the cancellation of many events.
The qualifying criteria for the 2021 National Finals has been removed.

ABHA NEWS UPDATE REGARDING 2021 NATIONAL FINALS

Update on current News

We are every close to the NEW online membership process being completed, bear with us while the last finishing touches are completed.

We have had a lot of new members join the association, excited to attend an ABHA affiliated events – we requested that they simply put M/BSHIP # PENDING as their ABHA membership # and send the affiliate running the event they would like to attend proof of payment of their membership.

Exciting News

The board has recognised the amount of events across the country that have had to be cancelled due to Covid – 19. This has made it close to impossible for some members to get to an event.

The decision has been made by the board to drop the qualifying criteria for the 2021 National Finals.

At this stage qualifying criteria will be reinstated for 2022 National Finals.

Other News

The ABHA membership list is growing and we have more members then ever, it is every exciting to see this growth in our association. With this growth in membership the board has had to make the decision to start to on forward credit card fee’s for membership. Up until now the ABHA has always absorbed these costs. This fee will be a direct charge of the amount charged from the card holders credit card transaction fee.

Equitana News

With two more qualifying events to be run, we have a great mix of barrel racing horses heading to Equitana 2021.

We will have more information coming out next week for competing members.

Thank you to all competitors that attended our event over the weekend. We are only a small club but to those that keeping coming to support Joan, Kylie and myself really appreciate it.

Thanks to our volunteers, Ashton for raking the drums, the ladies in the canteen and special thanks to Robbie and Alison from Kingsfield Stud for preparing the ground.
