The 2026 Bendigo Easter Festival is set to transform the city from April 3 to 6, turning every corner of Bendigo into a lively celebration filled with creativity, heritage and the welcoming spirit of community. As the autumn season settles in, the streets will come alive with the sounds of music, the movement of colourful parades, the aromas of local food offerings and the excitement of families, performers, visitors and volunteers gathering to experience one of the region’s most treasured traditions.
This year holds particular importance as Bendigo recognises the 100 year anniversary of the Bendigo Easter Fair Society, the volunteer organisation that has supported, guided and celebrated this major event since 1926. For a full century, the Society’s dedication has shaped the heart of the festival, preserving its cultural traditions while encouraging it to grow and evolve. Their milestone adds a meaningful layer of celebration to the 2026 program and highlights the long history of community pride and involvement that continues to define the festival today.
