A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the brew deck a Molly Rose Brewing last night for our Cabal Brew Night with Proud Mary Coffee .

Alongside Nic from Molly Rose and Brodie from Proud Mary, we brewed a coffee-infused aperitivo beer inspired by an Amaro Montenegro Espresso Spritz, balancing bitter botanicals, bright citrus and specialty coffee in one very unique beer.

The coffee comes from the mountains of Antioquia in Colombia and brings notes of panela, orange citrus and stone fruit, adding another layer of complexity to the brew.

But there’s one important job left: what to name it - atcually sorry two important jobs- also to drink it ;)

As the saying goes, there's no rest for the wicked... and just days after the end of Pint of Origin 2026, The Crafty Pint team is back with another event for our beer club members.

We're off to Molly Rose Brewing on June 11 to join founder Nic and Ash from Proud Mary Coffee Roasters and Cafe as they create a new coffee beer collab.

This exclusive Crafty Cabal event offers members the chance to get involved in the brew while enjoying coffee tastings and tank samples – and attendees get to put forward ideas for the beer's name too.

As part of the Regional Victorian brewers showcase at Bridge Road Brunswick during Pint of Origin 2026, King River Brewing are hosting a pop-up on Wednesday, May 20.

They’ll be showcasing a range of their beers, including some rarities, and are inviting Cabal members in for an early taste as well as a chat with their man that can, Sam Branagan.

From 5pm to 6pm, join Sam and The Crafty Pint team for a Cabal exclusive tasting and Q&A with one of the most fascinating small breweries in Australia.

Tickets cost just $10pp, covering all tastings. Plus! Sam will be offering 10% off any takeaways at the end.

Members are welcome to stick around afterwards to enjoy the other treats from Regional Victoria on tap for the week too.

Beer Cartel have long helped drinkers discover new beers via their subscription packs. Now they’ve expanded that range by adding a few new style-based packs to their service.

The Hop Head is built for IPA fiends while The Night Watch arrives as the weather drops and is dedicated to dark beers. Each contain eight beers and will feature an ever-changing mix of beers.
