The deadlines for our annual Matthew Flinders Art Prize are looming. Just 10 days to make th earlybird entry on June 14. Other entries close June 21.

What’s happening this weekend?
So glad you asked, as it is another beautiful weekend coming up here at The Bribie Island Community Arts Centre.
There should be sunshine after all this rain and the days are cooler.
This weekends workshops are
Gelli plate Printing with Robin Jensen on Sunday 31st May
Life drawing sessions kick off with Terry Wilkinson coordinating also on Sunday 31st May.
Please contact tutors directly for these workshops (info on flyers).
Sunday is also the day the Bribie Gem Club and the Bribie Woodies have their Open Day from 8am -12midday.
Our Matthew Flinders Gallery hosts the Reddy Arts Textile Group,
The gift Galleries are overflowing with treasures and Sabine Von Graz is still our Artist of the Month for May.
Natalie Hill, aka April Bansy will be demonstrating her beautiful colour in books in the Foyer and there is a wonderful raffle happening as well (more on that later)
Cafe 191 will be open daily until around 12.30pm
So why not visit us this weekend, you will be glad you did.
