The Ballarat Trades Hall have been such generous hosts. Their accessible venue (a rarity) and 'can-do' staff have allowed Ballarat Frolic Festival to host both the Q***r Film and Q***r Disco.

The Art Gallery of Ballarat hosted Sarah Hart with "Dear Q***r: How to write a note to someone you love" and assisted greatly with transforming Alfred Deakin Place into an urban rainbow picnic. πŸ§Ίβ˜€οΈ

The Nomads Outdoors Group for organising their delightful trek from Melbourne, all the way up to our Frolic Summer Picnic. It was such a pleasure to have you join us at the picnic and rest your feet. πŸƒπŸ‘Ÿ

Piano Bar Ballarat have been hosting our Cabaret for years, and somehow it keeps just becoming more and more spectacular. You folks keep our performers well fed and the show stunning everytime. Thank you to the Aaron, Erin & the staff for having us again. πŸ‘ πŸ’ƒ

Terribly Good Cinema managed to wrangle the rights to be able to program the empowering Q***r Film, But I'm a Cheerleader. Their brand of tongue-in-cheek cinema is only rivaled by our q***r campiness. Thank you Freyja & Julia. 🀠🎞️

Ballarat Tennis Club opened their doors and court to allow us folks to have a swing at Real Tennis! Allowing our communities to get out and try something very different in a safe space means so much, 🎾

QHUB Ballarat - the stars of our Rainbow Storytime! We feel incredibly fortunate to have them along to learn more about country and the lands we live, work and love among everyday. We also won't soon forget the gooey, brewy, yummy, chewy, wombat stew! πŸ“– 🌈

The Mallow Hotel provided our SunGay Trivia the perfect wrap up for our festival. Cool drinks, tasty food and all in a safe, inclusive and friendly atmosphere. We can't wait to enjoy more of the summer in the garden. Cheers Mallow! 🍻πŸ₯‚

Our thoughts are with the communities to the west of Ballarat that have been affected by the recent fires. ❀️

We are thankful that Ballarat hasn't been directly affected by the fires, except for the smoke being blown in yesterday, which has now cleared. With current conditions clear for our events, we're ready for our celebration of community pride.

Ballarat Frolic Festival will endeavour to monitor the situation and communicate any critical changes that we become aware of that could affect our event sites. We encourage our community to review the conditions if you are in a fire effected area prior to travelling.
