Sending our heartfelt condolences to Andy and all of Josh's family and friends.
We were lucky enough to have hosted Josh many times as part of our Telling Tales festival, and were deeply saddened at the news he wasn't able to join us this year.

The writing world has lost a great talent and a beautiful gentle soul.
Josh may you rest in peace and your legacy of stories forever shine a light for children everywhere. ✨️

Remembering South West author Josh Langley 📖🧸

A children’s book author from the South West is being remembered as a creative, loving person who wanted to make the lives of children happier.

Josh Langley died on Friday, July 18, after a short battle with stage four Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour.

The award-winning author and illustrator from the Preston River Valley published several books, encouraging self-acceptance and resilience among children.

Mr Langley’s husband, Andy MacLeod, says Josh's legacy is his mission to improve the lives of children.

“Josh wanted to make the lives of children who were struggling, just that little bit happier,” he says.

“And he honestly believed everyone was important to the world.

“He was a magnificent person and he will be missed by a lot of people, but most of all by me.”

Mr Langley’s funeral will be held on Saturday at the Bunbury Crematorium.

Attendees are asked to wear bright colours.
