Brought to you by Bright Futures Child Aid and Development Fund, an SA community development fund supporting projects for almost 16 years that benefit children experiencing poverty in developing countries, the Sandy68 is an iconic South to North journey on foot between the Sellicks Beach ramp and Largs Bay along the ever changing St Vincent Gulf coast following the sand and rocks and lapping waves
as much as possible for the entire length. What the course lacks in elevation, it makes up for in the mental challenge as you see the finish in the distance from more than 50km away, with sections of soft sand, rock-hopping and a consistent camber. While thereβs no mountain views, every km covered and new beach entered gives you spectacular coastal views with many sections of South Australian coast you have probably never discovered. This year, venture onto a different landscape and join us for the longest point to point beach ultra in Australia, knowing that you are empowering children on the other side of the world to overcome adversity. All 3 distances will finish at the same location in a festival atmosphere. All finishers will receive a memento to mark their achievement and memories to last a lifetime!
