What a quacking day! 🐥🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended the 2026 Adaminaby Easter Fair on Saturday. It was bigger, better and more egg-stra special than ever!

The day was filled with smiles, laughter and incredible community spirit. Most importantly, your support directly helped many local not-for-profit organisations raise vital funds — and that’s something worth celebrating.

A big thanks to Leed Engineering for generously sponsoring the Wacky Quacky Duck Race. Special shout-out to the amazing volunteers who helped with set-up, pack-down and everything in between.

And of course, thank you to the Snowy Scheme Museum Easter Fair organising sub-committee for their hard work behind the scenes to make the day run smoothly.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along, bought a duck or a raffle ticket, supported the Adaminaby Rural Fire Service Brigade wood auction, enjoyed the festivities and helped make this year’s fair one to remember.

It was a sensational Saturday at the Adaminaby Easter Fair, topped off by the much-anticipated Wacky Quacky Duck Race with a whopping $3,000 prize pool.

WACKY QUACKY AND PURPLE! Set-up is complete, the town is tidy and we are ready to go for the 2026 Adaminaby Easter Fair💪💜

The fair gets underway at 9am tomorrow morning, Easter Saturday 4 April, in the historic Snowy Mountains township of Adaminaby - entry and parking are FREE!

There's heaps of activities for people of all ages, market stalls, wood auction, coffee, yummy treats, Easter Bunny visit, competitions, and of course, the famous Wacky Quacky Duck Race is on again, with $3,000 prize money on offer 😁🏆💰Buy a duck for $3, or 4 for $10, and be in with a chance to win $1,000 for first over the line. Plus there's other big cash prizes!

Easter Fair organisers will be wearing purple vests so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask us. See you there!!

A big thank you to Leed Engineering for supporting one of the most loved traditions of the Adaminaby Easter Fair – the Wacky Quacky Duck Race! 🐤

Thanks to their generous sponsorship, this year’s race now boasts an increased prize pool of $3,000, including a $1,000 first prize for the lucky duck that crosses the finish line first.

It’s always one of the most entertaining moments of the day – hundreds of colourful ducks racing down the creek, plenty of cheering from the crowd, and a whole lot of community fun.

🦆Community helping community 💛

Last year, the Adaminaby Easter Fair committee proudly loaned our (very famous!) plastic ducks from the Wacky Quacky Duck Race to the Tumut Hospital Auxiliary so they could run their own duck race fundraiser.

We’re thrilled to share that their event and other activities in 2025 helped raise almost $39,000 - contributing to the purchase of vital equipment for Tumut Hospital 👏👏

The Adaminaby Easter Fair has always been about backing local community organisations, and we’re just as proud to support neighbouring communities when we can. Sometimes it really is as simple as sharing a few ducks and a good idea 💛

We're looking forward to the next Wacky Quacky Duck Race at the Adaminaby Easter Fair on Saturday 4 April!
