COB 2016 Postponed !
As many of you may know, Call of Beast is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to plan, market, build, run and pack-up the biggest obstacle course event in Canberra.
Most events of this size have full time teams - we do this on weekends and after hours while juggling other commitments.
Due to growing family and job demands the team has decided to have a break in 2016!
We know the reaction and disappointment in some corners ! (Others may be quietly pleased that your mates are not going to drag you through mud anytime soon!)
This decision was not made lightly - we have spent the last three years creating what we think is one of the more challenging but rewarding events in Canberra. The kids race by far was the highlight each year.
We have looked at options to employ dedicated resources but have decided that this will not work given the circumstances.
Its a shame to miss a year but; hopefully, we'll be back bigger than ever in 2017.
We have appreciated your wonderful support so far and we will keep you posted on plans for 2017!
