Following the success of the inaugural edition, we are delighted to welcome Future Generation back to Middle East Electricity and Solar Middle East on 2-4 March 2015. New for 2015: In addition to the people’s choice award that determined the winner last year, will be an official adjudicator award. This new award will be decided by an esteemed panel of judges who will assess each of the students’ p
rojects and ultimately present a prestigious Middle East Electricity award to the group that they believe have demonstrated the greatest initiative. The organisers of Middle East Electricity are delighted to be working with the Energy Institute again to make the Future Generation competition a success. The brief for the competition is as follows:
“To design and develop an innovative solution focusing on alternative energy, energy efficiency or energy conservation”
Students can present either a prototype and/or a poster, however it might be good to point out that visitors are drawn more to prototypes even if they aren’t fully functioning. There are several deadlines to take into consideration in order to become part of the competition:
- We need to receive your abstract by the 7th December 2014
- Please send a picture and specs of your project by the 18th January
- Transport your project to the venue on Sunday 1st March ready for the show opening on Monday 2nd March. Unfortunately we are unable to provide accommodation. For further information or to submit your entry, please email [email protected]
