German pagan metal veterans VARG have released a stirring live version of โ€œEwige Wacht,โ€ offering fans one final preview of their upcoming live album Live at Wolfszeit Festival 2024, arriving on May 22 via Na**lm Records. Originally featured as the title track of the bandโ€™s 2023 album Ewige Wacht - their highest-charting release to date, reaching the Top 15 of the German album charts - the song comes to life in this new recording with soaring melodies, powerful energy and a passionate crowd response.

Captured during VARGโ€™s own Wolfszeit Festival, the performance highlights the strong connection between the band and their fans. Describing the track as a special live moment, VARG say โ€œEwige Wachtโ€ has become the emotional centerpiece of their shows, with audiences singing every word back to the band. Clutch are giving fans a brand-new way to experience their fan-favourite album Earth Rocker with the release of a special Collectorโ€™s Series edition arriving on June 5 via the bandโ€™s Weathermaker label. Limited to just 6,000 copies worldwide, the remastered release comes on striking โ€œgrape ghostโ€ coloured 12-inch vinyl and includes redesigned artwork, a signed and numbered insert, and a premium gatefold sleeve.

Originally released in 2013, Earth Rocker marked a powerful return to the bandโ€™s hard-hitting rock roots, packed with heavy riffs and energetic tracks including โ€œD.C. Sound Attack!โ€, โ€œCrucial Velocity,โ€ and โ€œGone Cold.โ€ Fully remastered by Paul Logus and cut at half speed for enhanced sound quality, the collectorโ€™s edition is set to be a must-have for longtime fans.
