The ATM Team, including Danielle Curtis and Hassan Merchant, attended Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism first City stakeholder briefing for 2026. The event painted a clear picture: this is a destination that continues to move forward with purpose, confidence, and global support.
Key highlights from the briefing:
- Dubai favourability remains strong at 89% of regular levels, with consideration to visit holding at 80%
- 198 international business event bids submitted for events through to 2032
- Emirates has restored 96% of its network, reaching 138 destinations with 1,300-plus weekly flights
- flydubai has nearly 80% of its network active, covering 100-plus destinations with 1,750-plus weekly flights
- Flight searches are at 79% of last year's levels and improving week on week
- Hotel check-ins continue to climb, reaching 66% of last year's levels — and 80% at weekends
- The D33 agenda continues to shape how Dubai adapts, grows, and leads
Resilience here has not happened by chance. It has been built through united action, a clear security commitment, and the continued confidence of global partners across tourism and hospitality who are expanding their presence in the market.
Dubai is open, connected, and looking ahead — and Arabian Travel Market 2026 is where the industry comes together to turn that momentum into business opportunity.
