Our job as a Directors / Choreographers goes beyond making up movement/steps. We need to make sure casts are connected correctly to be able to successfully convey messages and emotion.

Here's a little clip (and enthusiasm at the end 😅🤣) of pulling a cast together in an exercise to embody fluidity as one organism/body.
All on the same level. No distractions. Pure intention.

Spectacle alone doesn't quite cut it. Emotion, atmosphere and connection is where the true magic lives.

To have someone begin their feedback with 'I felt' gives us a little trophy moment.

A new movement language for every work is how I keep each project fresh.

Dance steps within a narrative structure just aren't enough. The physical throughline of each visual element must be carefully directed.

In this video I demonstrate the beginnings of movement vocabulary development for a single character that comprised of 22 dancers. A character that represents fluidity, water and community.
